When we were thinking of a name for the company we wanted one that challenged the traditional business methodology, and delivered results that were pragmatic, workable and offer tangible business benefit. The name Oatmeal is synonymous with the company's philosophy, no added colours, no added flavourings, just wholesome, healthy business solutions.
Our logo represents a pebble, when thrown into water creates ripples, but the act of picking up the pebble is just as important, as once its thrown the energy quickly dissipates, so learning how to find, select and pick that single pebble amongst the millions of others that lay on the beach is where the skill lies. This reflects our customers desire, to undertake and accept change, using ‘best of breed’ methodology within the Oatmeal divisions to create positive change within the organisation.
The colour purple, long associated with luxury brands; purple was reserved during Roman times for royalty and represents leadership amongst the blues and greys that dominate the management consultancy arena. Purple also lies between blue, cold calm and conservative, and red, hot impulsive and passionate, reflecting the balanced values of the partners.
