Impact Assessment Training?
This one day workshop offers an introduction to Impact Assessment, and allows delegates to understand the purpose, legislative aims and practical tools to undertake an Impact Assessment.
Aims of the course
The course is designed to offer a practical guide to implementing impact assessments and covers:
- What is an Impact Assessment, legal and moral perspectives, legislation that covers Impact Assessments
- Learn through Oatmeals' toolsets, how to implement an Impact Assessment
- How to plan a course of operations post Impact Assessment
- How to motivate and erradicate obstacles to undertaking an Impact Assessment.
This course is developed for employees of local authorities and public sector orgnaisations. Delegates are expected to be familiar with their organisations equality scheme, and legislative requirements. Delegates may opt to go on Oatmeals' diversity awareness course prior to this if this is not the case.
