conflict management, how to be in control
Most of us have experience of conflict, at work with colleagues or your employer, or at home with sales people or family members.
For most of us, conflict is an unpleasant experience best avoided, and one that leaves the majority of the population feeling stressed, angry with a desire for revenge, or complete avoidance of a similar situation.
Our conflict management course looks at what causes conflict, the difference between functional and dysfunctional conflict, and why some conflict is healthy in the workplace, but also, key indicators of when to recognise when things may go wrong and how to steer them back on track.
This one day course covers:
- what is conflict?
- what types of actions cause conflict, and how to avoid them
- how to manage conflict when it arises, tools and techniques
- defusing difficult situations
- tips and techniques to deal with personal conflict and stress
- recognising and addressing conflicts within the workplace and between individuals
