Managing your time effectively
This is a one day course which focuses on the way we think about time. It raises awareness of why we lose time, and what we can do as people to change how we manage ourselves around the time we have available.
The session also looks at the basics of delegation as a way to gain more time, as well as assertiveness and behaviour to manage those around us more effectively when it comes to communication, tasks delegated to us or requests to carry out adhoc tasks.
Once this has been covered, the final part of the session looks at the tools available to organise yourself more effectively.
This course is suitable for all managers and leaders, and those who struggle to manage their time effectively.
Objectives: On return to the workplace you will:
- Have a fresh way of thinking about time
- Understand the behaviour of others and how to manage them more effectively
- Be more assertive with others, and know how to say ‘no’ effectively
- Be able to use a range of tools and techniques to organise your time more effectively.
This one day course is designed to sit alongside many other courses should you wish to create a management module.
