Andrea’s story is one of incredible sporting success over 20 years in three different sports.

Starting her sporting life as a county level swimmer Andrea switched to athletics when she recognised her talent at running. Within a short time Andrea established herself as one of Britain’s best distance runners becoming the second youngest ever winner of the National Cross Country Championships at the age of just 18. Andrea’s greatest achievement in running was competing in the 5000m at the Sydney Olympics and winning a silver medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

In 2001 Andrea decided to change sporting direction and switched to triathlon where she met with almost immediate success. Andrea is now one of the best triathletes in the world and one of Britain’s great prospects for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

 

Anthony Evans, TV presenter/celebrity chef/celebrity fisherman
