Oatmeal sponsors the next Lewis Hamilton-we hope

Oliver Hughes, a formula 1 star in the making

Oliver Hughes Wales

The Lewis Hamilton of tomorrow is an 11 year old Welsh boy and his name is Oliver; well we certainly hope so, just as Lewis started off on single engine go-karts, Oliver has set his sights on being a formula 1 driver.

Oatmeal is delighted to sponsor the Welsh Lewis Hamilton of the future. Already the Llandow Winter Champion, Oliver currently races in the Minimax series, a single 80cc engine kart that is capable of 70 mph.

Oliver is supported by a veteran of the karting circuit, Barri Bevan whose grandson, Rob Bevan was the Llandow Welsh Champion for 2006, and Shennington Champion is 2006. 'Oliver is a natural in the driving seat and gets better every race, I have high hopes for him' commented Barri.

'Lewis Hamilton was lucky to have the support and encouragement from an early start, we hope that with our contribution Oliver will have the best start in his early racing career' commented John Davies, MD of Oatmeal.
