Personal branding and mastering the use of communication
Initially developed as a 15 week Organisational Development Module for New York University, this course is a subset of five, 3 hour sessions run over a five week, or five day period.
This is an intensive course covering many different aspects of communication within the workplace.
In five short, intense sessions we will examine and explore why 78% of CEOs rank communication as the most important skill of today’s leaders. You will learn how to develop your own style to convince, persuade and inform in all manner of business environments. We will cover public speaking, business documentation, team communication and the skills required to be tomorrow’s leaders. You will also have the opportunity to review successful communication of 21st century leaders.
The course allows you:
- To fully understand styles of communication, and common pitfalls
- To understand the psychology of motivation and the role of the audience
- To understand the role of teams and how to manage group presentations
- To appreciate good AV practice, design guidelines and the psychology of color
- To gain clarity and confidence of delivery regardless of topic or audience size
- To be able to appreciate European and US styles of presenting.
